Pipeline collapse load analysis

This project was carried out for Advantica and involved conducting a series of analyses to find the displacement-load response for a pipe subjected to horizontal or vertical movement. The mesh involves use of interface elements to simulate the interaction between the pipe and soil. CC Ltd and Advantica are currently collaborating to produce a special version of CRISP which includes an advanced soil model for soil-pipe interaction and special mesh generation features for pipeline meshes
